Evian-Les-Bains: The United States and Iran on Wednesday remotely signed the hard copy of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the two nations to end the war in West Asia. The MoU serves as an interim agreement, with the final deal yet to be negotitated.
The White House stated that US President Donald Trump signed the deal at Versailles in France. Trump signed the deal just before a grand dinner with French President Emmanuel Macron at the Palace of Versailles.
White House Deputy Chief of Staff Dan Scavino posted the video of Trump signing the MoU on X shortly after Trump left Versailles.

The Islamic Republic News Agency (Iran) also published photos showing Iranian President Maosud Pezeshkian signing the MoU.
Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif stated that the deal "shall enter into force with immediate effect", in a post on X. Sharif further said that Pakistan and co-mediator Qatar will still host an official signing ceremony on Friday in Switzerland.
Both US and Iran have also released the text of the 14-point interim agreement, which extends the ceasefire announced in April by another 60 days, including in Lebanon, to allow the two sides to negotiate a final truce.
The MoU includes an immediate end to the war on all fronts, including Lebanon, the full resumption of maritime traffic "with no charge" in the Strait of Hormuz, the lifting of a U.S. blockade of Iranian ports, the waiving of U.S. sanctions on Iran, the unfreezing of its assets, and a $300 billion investment fund for the Islamic Republic's post-war reconstruction.
As per the agreement, Iran undertakes not to build nuclear weapons, reaffirming a vow it had made for decades. Iran also agreed to the on-site "down-blending" of its stockpile of enriched uranium under the supervision of the International Atomic Energy Agency.
